NICOLA BARBER (Co-Creator, Web/Graphic Designer, and Amina Snatch) New York stage credits include Arts Nouveaux at Wings Theater, Work (director Jim Simpson) and JABU (director Liz Swados) at the Flea Theater, Aristophanes’ Peace at Abingdon Theater, and Pyrates! The Courtship Chronicles at Theatre for the New City. Recent regional roles include Phebe in As You Like It and Fabian in Twelfth Night with Actors Shakespeare Company. Nicola performed as a dance-skater with Jessica Simpson at her CD release party, and she can be seen alongside Scarlett Johnansson in The Nanny Diaries (Miramax), opening nationwide in September. |

WILL BRUMLEY (Book Writer) wrote the Book for the musical adaptation of S.E. Hinton’s The Outsiders, which received an Equity Reading at Los Angeles’ Coronet Theatre, directed by four-time Emmy Award Winner Arthur Allan Seidelman. Lullabies, an original R&B musical written with composer Robert Baumgartner, Jr.was produced in 2003 in Washington, DC and starred four-time Helen Hayes Award Nominee Jane Pesci-Townsend. Currently, he is writing the book for a full-length rock musical with Brooke Fox and Kurt Gellersted, songs from which have been recorded by Shoshana Bean, Sebastian Arcelus, and Dan Jenkins. With collaborator Shane Scheel (UPRIGHT, an LA cabaret) Will has co-created various television properties through Resolute Productions, including work with Survivor producer John Feist and Richard Jay-Alexander. | |||
BROOKE FOX (Music & Lyrics) is a singer-songwriter who has performed live in over 24 states and 3 countries. A graduate of Berklee College of Music’s songwriting program, two of her songs were recently recorded by Kathy Brier, star of Hairspray and ABC’s One Life to Live. In 2006 Brooke appeared on CNN, Fox News, and Entertainment Tonight on behalf of the National Organization of Albinism to help dissolve the “Evil Albino Myth” as perpetuated by films such as The DaVinci Code. Brooke’s two critically-acclaimed CD’s can be purchased at www.brookefox.com. Oh, and she’s married to Kurt. They currently live in Williamsburg. | |||
KURT GELLERSTED (Music), originally from Chicago, received his Master’s degree in Music Composition from NYU before jumping into New York’s film and TV music scene. Kurt recently composed and sang the theme song for Bizarre Foods on The Travel Channel. He has written music for NBC’s The Martha Stewart Show, TLC’s Bringing Home Baby, ABC’s The One, Bravo’s Kathy Griffin: My Life on The D-List, and Charles Band’s feature film, Evil Bong. While at NYU, Kurt composed and premiered his piece Requiem, which was featured on NPR’s Theme & Variations. Oh, and he’s married to Brooke. They currently live in Williamsburg. DEBORAH WOLFSON (Director/Choreographer) New York directing credits include Drums in the Night (Bee Sting at the Flea), The Jigsaw Confession (TSI/Playtime Series, Snapple Theater), The Contractors (Theater Row) , and Bum’s Rush, A Play for Barry White and The Second Constant for Blue Box Productions. She choreographed The Dead Body Takes Her Revenge for Bee Sting’s Psst... There’s a Dead Body in the Room. Other New York credits: Jersey Boys, The Guys (Dir. Thomas Kail), A. R. Gurney’s Screen Play (Dir. Jim Simpson), Len Jenkin’s Margo Veil, and Liz Swados’ JABU. Deborah is a not-too-recent graduate of the University of Chicago. |
